Toa Vietnamese Cuisine in Calgary

The restaurant is large and clean. We went on a weekend and it was empty, it is probably packed on weekdays. The menu has all the items I’d expect at a Vietnamese including wrap your own salad rolls. I ordered the pork chop and it was absolutely delicious.

Excellent service and very friendly. The food came out quickly and it was amazing.

Potentially the best Vietnamese sub in Calgary. Don't forget the deep fried dumplings if you have the room!

Love Vietamese Pho Noodles 🍜 Ordered their house special and it came very quickly.It has rare Beef, beef flank, tendon, tripe and beef balls. Portion is huge, lots of stuff and lots noodles and love the soup base.Reasonable price and great services. Would definitely come back with my girls so we can order different food to share.

My favourite Vietnamese restaurant!I’ve been going here for years. Overall great food & quick service. They have their off days when it may not be so great but that’s rare in my experience. They are pricier than other places but good portions. Their sauce for the salad rolls is soooo yummy! Very quick for takeout. I call ahead and leave the office right away. There is a reason this place is ALWAYS insanely busy at lunch. They’re great!

Great Vietnamese food for a decent price. Of all the dishes myself and coworkers have had here, there have been no disappointments. It is always our go-to Vietnamese restaurant. They have a pretty standard menu... pho, vermicelli bowls, subs, stir fry, bubble tea, etc. It can get quite busy during workday lunch time, but they do take reservations. Food comes out fast and staff are very friendly. The only down fall I've seen is if you get seated in the back corner, or generally when it's busy, it can be difficult to get the attention of staff when a drink refill or something is needed.

Owners do care as they say. Service is always friendly and they serve the best vermicelli in town.

The food is decent but on the more expensive side of the Vietnamese restaurants around this area. The one dislike about here is that their tables are so close to each other, it feels like a cafeteria more than a restaurant. During noon it gets EXTREMELY noisy and makes for an uncomfortable eating experience.

Best pork chop in town, also very good pho.... just skip the beef and opt for beef ball or if u can eat none meat parts of a cow.

Having visited this place at 6pm maybe things would have been different earlier on. The food seemed like it had been sitting around a while. Not terrible but also not very appetizing.

they make a mean Viet sub :) would recommend the bbq pork sub if you have a bit of a sweet and savoury tooth

Best place for a sit down Vietnamese lunch in downtown that I know of. Worth it to try their fresh roll appetizers too.

It was soooo good. People flock mostly during lunch time, meaning the food is great and affordable.

To preface I will say this place has excellent food!Additionally, the decor of the place is very very nice. Staff is friendly, and food is delivered quick. There is quite a big rush with the professional folks that work downtown during lunch, but it's nothing unbearable. Usually.

Fast service with above average pricing in Calgary. If you need something quick, it is not a bad choice for lunch. The place can get busy during lunch time but the turn over was quick too. I never waited more than 10 minutes at this place.

One of the best Vietnamese restaurants in the downtown core. Service is absolutely amazing! We had a group of 10 and we're able to order, eat, and be back at the office within 50-60 minutes. They are crazy fast and very accommodating for large groups and reservations. I would give it a 4.5 if I could, but 5* is reserved for the best food of its kind.

Excellent Vietnamese food in downtown Calgary. They are great to check out for a quick lunch. The meals are very fairly priced with good serving sizes. You won't be disappointed with a vermicelli bowl or a pho. They are also open later than many of the other places around the area.

Have been to this restaurant twice. Both times service was atrocious. First time was at lunch with no reservation. They got us in then ignored us for 10+ minutes before bringing water or taking our order. Food was decent, but took a long time to arrive. Considered walking out due to service delays honestly. Second time we went we had a lunch reservation, were promptly seated, given menus then ignored for 10+ minutes. After seeing another customer get seated, brought a menu and water, and had their order taken before us, we decided to walk out. Not sitting for 15 minutes just to get our order in. Improve the service. Don't leave customers waiting to clear empty tables. Take their order first, then do the maintenance stuff. There is more than 1 server working there so I am not sure why each doesn't have their own section and take orders promptly.

Great subs. One of if not the best sub in town.

Asked for charbroiled ground beef, pork and shrimp and literally was just given hotdogs instead. Called them and they say that's what's normally served. Literally never gotten this type of meat when ordering elsewhere

If you dont eat here when you downtown......your nuts. This place has the best #7...lol...seriously try it. The beef and chicken broth are both great. They try and fit alot of people in for lunch, reservation for large parties, but 11:45 for two. Also....cocunut shrimp....mic drop....

Good service and always fast. The special is a good deal you get a vermicelli bowl with shrimp spring roll and another meat(changes by day) and a salad roll or spring roll. Friday can be busy. Price is good and staff do good job.

Tasty food - rude service. I walked in the front door 15 minutes before my scheduled pickup time for take out. I smiled and said " Hi there, I'm here for a skip the dishes order, but I'm really early - so I'll just wait, no rush! " The lady at the front said ok and went in the back - she re-emerged with a man who said " YOU ARE EARLY, TOO EARLY, THE ORDER ISN'T READY". I told him the same thing I had already told the first person and said not to worry I wasn't in any sort of rush. The place was empty so I'm not sure why 3 salad rolls was going to take them an hour to make anyhow . Anyways I was scolded once again when I went to leave, " Next time look at the pickup time". The food was good but I was pretty annoyed by the overreaction on their part. I also received one blown out salad roll, likely an F U of sorts, for sitting patiently while they made my order.

This place is great for meetings, friends or a quick lunch. The staff are friendly, service is fast and efficient, and the food is consistently good. Having eaten here dozens of times it’s a solid offering in downtown Calgary. The vegetarian menu is good and I’ve never had a bad meal. :)

I go here all the time and 99% of the time the food is great and the service is fast! These folks jump to the pump. There is high volume out of this restaurant so the food is always fresh.

Great place for a quick lunch. Staff is efficient. Building a lot dated (well, a LOT dated), but who cares - the food and the service are great.
